Happy New Year

We closed out the year quietly at home. This is the 1^st time in a very LONG time that Chris and I have not brought the new year in at church.  I tried to keep Ethan up as long as possible but by 11:15pm his little tank was on EMPTY!  We took our last 2011 family picture and I kissed him for one final time in 2011 and Chris put him to bed.

We watched the Dick Clarks NYE show and toasted 2012 with sparkling grape juice.  I held pictures of Israel Grayson in my hand as we closed out 2011 and welcomed 2012. We made no resolutions.  We made no speeches. We are just thankful that we survived to see a new day and a new year. 

 I haven’t told God THANK YOU enough over the past few weeks but I am indeed thankful for the things that we DO have.
