7/23 update..I didn't get the news that I expected today. My cervix has shortened . Madison is sitting directly on the cervix which is 8 additional oz of pressure that we do not need. Thankfully the stitch is still in place and doing exactly what we need it to do. I was just much tooo emotional today because I didn't expect to see I changes since the cerclage is working so well. So without a doubt I am resting and getting up to potty and shower only. I have not had any contractions since Friday...THANK GOD. I will start home monitoring ( for contractions) tomorrow if the case mgr can work it all out. Chris and I have called in the troops ( family & friends) to help us out. I just feel like I'm loosing control!!!! Thank you to all of you who have offered to give of yourself and your time to assist us. Tanya is working on a schedule for meals, grocery shopping, etc. If you want help, please let me know and I can forward your contact information on to her. Please know from the onset that we appreciate everything that folks do for us. I know that we will need alot of help along the way and I cry just thinking about it all.
I have some new pics of Baby Madison , most of them are of arms, legs, & butt but here is a good one of her face...shes doing great!

Aw Tanika! I will definetly keep you, Madison and Chris in my prayers! I would love to do anything that can help!!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Sunshine :)! If only I were closer, I'd jump on the troop list. You guys stay in my prayers and I can't wait for new pics of Madison!
ReplyDeleteIf I was closer I would be there. I am praying for you and Chris and Madison. ((big hugs))
ReplyDeleteTanika,
ReplyDeleteA coworker asked me to pray for you. She knew I would pray especially for you since I have had two miscarriages and I also said both hello and good bye to two sweet boys on December 21, 2008. I had a cerclage and was only 23 weeks but my body just wouldn't do it. I commit to praying for you and baby Madison. If there is ever anything you think I could do for you... maybe just an ear from someone who has dealt with something similar, I am happy to listen.
Crystal
Tanika,
ReplyDeletePop Ralph and I send greetings to you today...another day with Jesus. We are yet praying for you, Madison and of course, Chris. I sit here this morning with such a prayerful spirit for you and Madison (Faith) :)) I carry her in my heart as I have adopted you and Chris...we can't wait to hold her and look into her eyes. This is a blog of encouragement for you to keep looking up. TRUST GOD! He knows what he's doing in your lives. I promise you, the pain of these days won't last forever...there IS a BRIGHT tomorrow. Hugs, love, kisses and prayers...
