Happy 1st Birthday My sweet Madison

Its hard to believe that a year has come & gone since Madison touched our lives. Where did the time go? Yesterday, I remembered the intense pain of labor and the emotional toll that it had on both Chris & I. This morning at 3:50 on my trip from the bathroom I recalled how my mourning was immediately turned to joy just a year ago at 3:10am when Madison was born and I heard her breathe. WHAT a moment. I remember yelling, “Moma, she’s alive”. We filled a lifetime of love in those 9 hours that she was with us. She was passed from arm to arm but she never passed from our heart.
